The Tulare County ARES group will be offering "Emergency Communications Course - Level 1" in October through November. The course dates are October 3, 10, 31, and November 14. The course schedule is listed below.

Saturday, October 10, 2009 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, St. James Episcopal Church, Lindsay CA
Saturday, October 31, 2009 - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, St. Paul's Anglican Church, Visalia CA
Saturday, November 14, 2009 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, St. Paul's Anglican Church, Visalia CA

October 3rd's session will follow the 8:00 AM Porterville Amateur Repeater Association's monthly breakfast meeting at Country Waffle's on Highway 65 in Lindsay.

October 31's session will include a table top exercise.

Testing for the course will be on Saturday November 14.

Talk-in frequency for all of the sessions will be on the KE6WDX repeater, 145.31- pl 100.
